CITYMIRRORS-NEWS-Thursday, 05October 2017, IamSMEofIndia after the series of Knowledge imparting sessions on GST organised an open house session conducted with GST Commissionerate to address the grievances of small-scale industries, Manufacturers, Traders, Exporter, Entrepreneur.
The top brass of GST, the worthy Commissioner GST along with his team ofAdditional Commissioner, Joint Commissioners and Assistant Commissioner visited IamSMEofIndia Habitat Centre (IHC) and covered various GST related issues and concerns of members of IamSMEofIndia in the Open house Session.
Chairman, IamSMEofIndia Mr. Rajiv Chawla welcomed all the dignitaries and the guests to the session and in his opening address brought a sense of relaxation by sharing the news that government is seriously considering to relax various stringent provisions of GST and the hardships for the MSME sector it has created. IamSMEofIndia has also suggested some changes to the Government to make it simple and easy for small businesses to be GST compliance. The 22nd GST Council meeting due on 6th Oct 2017 is likely to bring relief to the MSME sector.
Government has already approved acceptance of LUT for Exporter in Place Bank Guarantee/ Bond.
Mr. Prashant Kumar Sinha, the Commissioner GST, on behalf of the Commissionerate assured the entrepreneurs present in the session that his entire department will extend help to MSMEs for better implementation of the GST Law.
“IamSMEofIndia is doing tremendous job to support MSMEs and growing as fastest network of MSMEs, we look forward to organise few more sessions from this platform soon” said Mr. Sinha while appreciating IamSMEofIndia.
The Chairman, IamSMEofIndia extended his warm regards to the Commissioner and his entire team, he also expressed his warm thanks to all the participant members who took out their valuable time to attend this session.
